1. Map your current workflow
Which steps happen in a calendar, messenger, on paper or at the register? Pick a real day with a new request, reschedule, team change and end-of-day review. Mark where information is entered twice or chased by phone.
2. Clarify data before buying
Ask your current provider which customer and appointment records can be exported and in what format. Define the fields the new system needs. Test a small sample and check names, contacts, services and dates. Do not assume a complete automatic migration.
3. Test permissions and working hours
Reception, individual staff and the owner need different views. Check who may change bookings, see customer details, assign tasks and correct working hours. Include an unexpected absence and task handover in the test.
4. Calculate total cost
Request written pricing for setup, monthly use, extra staff, messages, support and add-ons. Compare that figure with work actually removed in your trial, rather than an untested time-saving claim.
5. Start with one measurable day
Enter real services, prices, hours and staff roles. Run one whole day and document unanswered questions before deciding what to move. We can discuss this remotely with salons in Berlin, Cologne or Hamburg; we do not claim local offices.

A new system is better only if the working day becomes easier. Compare the transition for clients, staff and owners, not just the feature lists.
